Entry fee $60.00. Limited to 400 entries.  Only one entry per person.

Early Bird cut off is 5th October 2026.
Open Entries close 5:00 p.m. 31 October 2025 unless all tickets sold out.

Snapper (minimum weight 1.50 kg)  - 15 prizes totaling $9,100
Kahawai (minimum weight 2.00 kg)  - 10 prizes totaling $3,800
Trevally (minimum weight 1.50 kg)  - 10 prizes totaling $3,800
Gurnard (minimum weight 0.60 kg)  - 10 prizes totaling $3,800
Spotted Smooth Hound (minimum weight 3.50 kg)  - 10 prizes totaling $3,800

Only one cash prize, per species section, per angler. Check our PRIZES page for full details.
If insufficient fish are weighed-in, unclaimed prizes will be drawn as spot prizes. Must be at the prize giving to collect.

Fishing Times

Start fishing from 10am. Wednesday 4 November 2026. 
Final weigh-in closes 5:00 p.m. Saturday 7 November 2026.

Competitors may fish 24 hours per day within the competition period. A full set of the rules may be viewed on our RULES page.

Northern Boundary, South bank of the Marokopa River.
Southern Boundary, Nukumaru Rock (Waiinu Beach).

Competitors with fish to weigh on the final day, Saturday 7th November 2026, must be at the Cape Egmont Boat Club's official weigh-in area by 5:00 p.m. Fish will NOT be accepted for weighing after 5:00 p.m. on the final day. A full set of the rules may be viewed on our RULES page.

Prize Giving

The prize giving will be at the Cape Egmont Boat Club on Saturday 7th November 2026 at 6:30 p.m.
Contestants must be at the prize giving to claim the early bird and spot prizes.
